Gramin Ekikrat Krishi Vikas Trust is a non-profit organization working for rural development social empowerment and improvement of agriculture. GEKVT is a private company registered in 2016 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Our organization is selflessly fighting for the betterment of the living standards of the people in remote villages without any profit. Engaged in the service of neglected remote people.
The basic human needs are food, clothing, shelter. If a person is deprived of one of these, he always strives hard to get it. In Uttarakhand, the scope of development is neither narrow nor wide, as it is a remote place. The remote villages here need not only economic development but also growth on the social front, quality of life, empowerment, development of women

and children, education, and awareness of its inhabitants. The development work is so huge and complex that the implementation of government plans alone is not enough to solve the problem. We continue our efforts to achieve this, to implement it so that the people of all these regions can enjoy all the opportunities and lead a normal life. GEKVT grows on its own funds with local funds and helps fulfill the dreams of people in remote areas.

GEKVT’s mission is to reach the unreached. To make them encourage, to make self-reliant, to inculcate moral values, and to make organic cultivation awareness. And also to help the people who are left by society, who are deprived, exploited, neglected, and have no aim in their life. GEKVT is on a mission to make the future generation educated and to aware of the environment.

OUR VISION

GEKVT wants to see the remote rural areas of Uttarakhand in full color where people will be self-reliant, enlightened, empowered, protected. Our dream is to reach the doorsteps of the neglected, deprived, backward, and marginalized people and stand by them. In this way, we work tirelessly for the development of remote areas, for future generations, and for the flow of normal life.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To run educational institutions at every level.
  • To provide education by running all types of technical and non-technical educational institutions.
  • To impart education by running distance education centers.
  • Establishment of Allopath, Ayurveda, Homeopath colleges with permission from the government.
  • To make women and girls self-reliant by teaching handicrafts like sewing, embroidery, weaving, etc.
  • To make proper arrangements for computer education basic and advanced courses and certificates in rural and urban areas.
  • To make proper arrangement and management of English language reading and speaking courses in rural and urban areas.
  • To make society aware of sports in rural and urban areas.
  • Establishment of Pharmacy Nursing School.
  • To help poor class students to get an education.
  • To make unemployed youths job-oriented by imparting handicraft education.
  • To organize all types of medical camps.
  • To work against all types of pollution.
  • To educate the public on the issue of corruption.
  • To create awareness about human rights.
  • That to inform the public about RTI and Consumer Protection Act.
  • To build, run madrasas and Dharamshala for the education (education) of Urdu,
    Establishment of restrooms.
  • To guide the farmers related to the land and be aware of the new discoveries in farming.
